A CLOSE LOOK AT SOME OF MY FAVORITE PROJECTS
ILLUSTRATION, GRAPHIC & FONT DESIGN
The year 2020 found the whole world looking for solice and comfort and escape. For me, I returned to some old stories where I could find strength when I was young. I returned to Middle Earth and re-read Lord of the Rings for the first time in years.
I couldn’t help but start drawing scenes and shapes from the stories as they captured my imagination again. I found a kindred spirit in Victor from Ursa Major Supply- an online shop with a flair for flair and a love of Tolkien. We collaborated with a series of 2 bandanas in two colorways each. With artwork inspired by the books, and my childhood interpretations, these turned out to be hugely succesful limited runs that spoke to everyone at home looking to fight the darkness and dreaming of life outside the Shire.
Furthermore, to package these items, I created a custom hand-drawn typeface “Mithrandir” as an homage to my favorite wizard.

I’m visually driven and love to create. I’ve been utilizing my art and design background to make lots of cool stuff for adventerous folks – key illustrations, product design, events, brand identity, packaging, multimedia social content and high-level strategic concepts.

Why Outrider?
