The Frigo Cheese brand is known best for it’s creamy ricotta and other cooking cheeses, but it’s hard to branch out when everyone only thinks of you when they want lasagna for dinner.
For a fresh take, we partnered with Chef Emily Ellyn as the voice of Frigo Cheese. She developed recipes and provided her signature charm while we styled and shot her colorful culinary creations. Bright outdoor settings, quick recipe videos capturing the latest food trends, and stunning photography helped take Frigo’s cheese outdoors for summer.
Once we had all the mouth-watering recipe photography, we got the word out with a summer-long giveaway. Video content brought consumers to a microsite filled with backyard recipes, tips and a chance to win. White picnic tables replaced the white table cloth and colorful brush strokes evoked that al fresco experience - a far cry from heavy pans of lasagna. By capturing their emails via contest entry, we were sure to follow up with helpful tips and recipes from our spokesperson and “freshness expert” Chef Emily Ellyn.
