Live music is a sensory experience. The sounds, the lights, the drinks and of course the atmosphere. A sense of place is an essential componant to any succesful music festival.
With the Americana Music Fest being held in the charming Midwest town of Three Oaks, Michigan, I looked to the environment itself for inspiration on how to bring the visual aspects of the fest to life.
Referencing some snapshots I took of old signage, the texture of the Acorn Theatre itself, and the colors of the small town landscape I built custom lettering and the eagle logo that formed the centerpiece of the fest’s visual identity.

I’m visually driven and love to create. I’ve been utilizing my art and design background to make lots of cool stuff for adventerous folks – key illustrations, product design, events, brand identity, packaging, multimedia social content and high-level strategic concepts.
